Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Demand Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, supporting the S&OP process, and collaborating across functions to drive forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical models within our global planning tool, Kinaxis Maestro.
- Cleanse historical events, apply robust statistical modelling, and integrate forward-looking intelligence to support demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze demand planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast value add, and forecast bias.
- Provide insights on demand trends, seasonality, and potential risks to enhance planning accuracy.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by presenting updated demand insights and key assumption changes in collaboration with the Market S&OP Manager.
- Actively participate in weekly S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) and monthly S&OP meetings, contributing relevant updates and data-driven inputs.
- Collaborate with market teams and the Global Demand Planning Excellence Lead to adopt global frameworks and best practices.
- Continuously enhance demand planning processes using data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA from a recognized business school.
- Proven experience as a Demand Planner, preferably using Kinaxis Maestro or other advanced digital planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in supply chain planning systems (Kinaxis Maestro highly desirable) and ERP platforms such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or JDE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally, especially with Commercial and Sales teams across regions.
