Role Overview
- Comply with all safety, health, and environmental rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Perform safety, quality, and environmental inspections as assigned.
- Conduct regular housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Complete inspections, lubrication, and servicing of machinery.
- Troubleshoot and maintain centrifugal and mag drive pumps.
- Analyze mechanical and electrical problems, suggest solutions, and implement repairs.
- Recommend refurbishment or replacement of equipment.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems; participate in commissioning.
- Document maintenance work, parts used, and repair procedures.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians.
- Collaborate with team members to solve plant problems and achieve goals.
- Participate in special information or problem-solving teams as requested.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment.
- Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Dexterity for routine work including operation of tools and equipment.
- Ability to distinguish colors associated with electric wiring and respond to alarms.
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED required; Plant or Maintenance Technology Certificate .
- Minimum 5 years of plant maintenance experience .
- Valid CA driver's license required.
- Bilingual skills .
