Program Summary
KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 who perform work on the contract in 14 countries.
Job Summary
Under limited supervision, performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization) related to depot, local, or other supply activities. Tasks may be segregated by commodity area or function, and controlled in terms of difficulty, complexity, or responsibility. Assignments usually relate to standardized technical supply management operations. Participates in inventory audits and researches discrepancies. May assist with Document Control functions. Ensure supplies are properly identified, handled, stored and shipped. May act as chief inspector and conduct limited inspector training to personnel. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines. May operate forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, or other equipment to transport supplies. Perform similar activities as assigned.
Requires 4 years of related experience preferably in a military operation. Some positions may require HazMat certification for storage, handling, distributing, and shipping such materials. Minimum requirements specified by client/contract will prevail, if different.
