Health & Safety Advisor

The Company  

Our client is a respectable construction company who has an excellent reputation within the industry in Queensland. They have a solid pipeline of projects heading into 2025 and a stable high performing team in Brisbane.  

They are well known for the high quality of work they deliver as well as staff retention, job security and work-life balance. They focus on projects within the $20 - $100m+ category including commercial construction.



Location-          Brisbane, QLD

Duration-          Permanent, Full-time

Salary-             $180,000 total package



The Role  

Due to ongoing and recent project wins they are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team. You’ll play a crucial role in the preparation of tenders and project costings for a range of major construction projects.

The Responsibilities 

• Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities, ensuring alignment with legislative and organizational requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits, providing practical solutions to mitigate hazards and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Deliver HSE training to site teams, fostering awareness and engagement in achieving safety objectives.

Requirements 

• Exposure to large Australian based builders (Tier 1 or 2 preferably)
• Experience with EBA's
• Experience on projects valued at $100m and above  
• 3+ years’ experience in a HSE position within the construction industry
