Gas Flow Upgrade Scada Support – Brussels, Belgium







Key responsibilities and main tasks:





You will be part of a team responsible for the SCADA system and providing support to our Operations Center. You will help maintain the current graphical interface but also to shape that of the new system. You will report to the engineer responsible for the 'Upgrade Scada' project within Gas Flow and in the context of this project:


•            You will help with the daily maintenance of the Scada images and the Scada system


•            You will participate in the project for the upgrade of the system (incl. participation in a training course to upgrade the old and new system)


•            You participate in the analysis of existing images/visualizations in Scada and - if necessary - make proposals to improve them


•            You consult with your direct colleagues and the colleagues within the Operations Center about opportunities for improvement (in the new system), with the aim of improving the user experience of the application.


•            You will participate in the preparation of training courses and ensure the transfer of your knowledge to our Operations Center, among others.





The experience shall include:





•            You have a Bachelor's degree (A1) in a technical field or equivalent experience


•            You have good technical and ICT skills and are willing to learn and discover new things. Experience with SCADA systems is a plus


•            You possess a good dose of intellectual curiosity and proactivity


•            You work independently, in a structured way and have an eye for detail (you work precisely)


•            You have a good knowledge of IT systems and have a command of Office 365. Knowledge of VBA and SQL is an added value.


•            Teamwork player and excellent communication skills


•            Good knowledge of English is required and knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
