Field Operator II - Line Locator in Carlsbad, New Mexico, North America

Our client is seeking a Line Locator to work within their facilities located in Carlsbad, NM on a 12-month assignment (with possibility of extension / becoming permanent).
Responsibilities
- Use specialized equipment to locate and mark underground oil, gas, and water pipelines.
- Interpret and understand utility maps, blueprints, and diagrams to accurately locate utilities.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Document and report findings accurately.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to prevent damage to utilities.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of and experience with utility locating equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret utility maps, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience as a line locator, particularly in the oil and gas industry.
