Environmental / Regulatory Advisor II

Support the growth of an Upstream Research laboratory and build sustainable work processes to maintain environmental compliance. Task to include items such as:


• Review and update existing site environmental procedures. Develop procedures where needed aligned with Federal and Texas waste regulations.


• Develop training information and plans associated with Large Quantity Generators


• Manage waste stream and profile information for new wastes


• Identify alternative wastewater and waste management data tracking and reporting strategies


• Identify sustainable sampling calendar tools for wastewater compliance





Support waste facility and data tracking improvements


• Review and update existing waste facility tracking log


• Manage information requests and adjust tracking log accordingly


• Identify data tracking requirements for waste management globally


• Support tool scoping and development for waste tracking tool transition





• Top 3 skill sets required for qualification:


o 1): Mid-level career knowledge in waste regulations and water compliance - 7-10 years of experience


o 2):General knowledge on industrial laboratory environmental activities


o 3):Strong written communication skills and Excel knowledge
