Airswift is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Estimator I to join our client’s project estimating team in Juno Beach. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and energy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and managing cost estimates, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.

This position offers exposure to a wide range of technologies including wind, utility-scale solar, distributed solar, energy storage, transmission & distribution lines, substations, water treatment, 5G & fiber, hydrogen, pipelines, and fossil .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and prepare detailed project cost estimates (conceptual, preliminary, and definitive).
• Develop pricing models and perform value engineering analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather and analyze project documentation.
• Maintain estimation tools, databases, and methodologies.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans.
• Present estimates and value engineering options to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Track project costs and variances throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimating, with a focus on conceptual engineering and project design.
• Experience in utility-scale energy projects (renewables, power , transmission).
• Proficiency in value engineering principles.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Post-Graduate Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business.
• 3+ years of estimating experience and 1+ year in field engineering or construction management.
• Experience with cost estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX).
• Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6).

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Occasional travel to project sites.

• Fast-paced corporate setting with cross-functional collaboration.
• Hybrid work model with flexibility for site visits.
