About the Role
Airswift is seeking a Electrical Commissioning Supervisor to support site-based commissioning activities for a major energy project. This role is pivotal in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of commissioning scope within a live hydrocarbon facility. The successful candidate will interface with multiple stakeholders and vendors, and will be instrumental in driving commissioning milestones and documentation to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage commissioning permits.
- Perform site completions activities including:
- Attendance at walkdowns (MC, RFC, RFSU, SHC)
- Facilitate commissioning milestone handovers
- Update commissioning status in CMS (FTRs, punchlists, certificates)
- Ensure documentation is completed and signed off
- Coach site personnel on commissioning activities and Orbit CMS usage
- Review and provide input to CCLBD development.
- Conduct onsite workpack reviews and support developers with site requirements.
- Assist with site resource mobilisation/demobilisation.
- Provide input to commissioning schedules and drive scope to meet targets.
- Supervise commissioning activities including:
- Morning pre-start meetings with technicians/vendors
- Witnessing sign-off points in workpacks
- Supporting vendors and IC contractor technicians
- Liaising with Operations for safe execution
- Technical assistance with fault finding and troubleshooting
- Ensuring test equipment availability and compliance
- Contribute to daily/weekly/monthly commissioning reporting.
- Audit construction team for equipment preservation compliance.
- Liaise with engineering and construction teams on redline mark-ups.
- Support Perth engineering with surveys and verification as required.

- Ability to read BLDs, SLDs, P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Schematics, and Termination Drawings.
- Solid understanding of Permit to Work (ISSoW) processes.
- Aptitude for completions/certification documentation and CMS usage.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
