Electrical Apprentice 2/3 – Commercial Solar

A growing renewable energy construction team is seeking experienced Electrical Apprentices 2/3 to support the installation of commercial solar projects across Oahu. This is an excellent opportunity for solar professionals looking to build their careers in the renewable energy sector while working on active commercial PV installations.
The successful candidates will work closely with electricians, a site superintendent, and other field personnel to support safe, efficient, and high-quality installation work. This role is best suited to individuals with hands-on trade experience, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Role Overview
Electrical Apprentices will assist in the installation of commercial solar electrical systems and support broader field operations where needed. The role includes working from plans, handling conduit and wiring tasks, assisting with equipment installation, and supporting the mechanical team during module and optimizer installation.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret plans to assist electricians with commercial solar electrical installations.
- Bend metal and PVC conduit.
- Set junction boxes and equipment.
- Pull wire and complete other standard electrical installation tasks.
- Assist the mechanical team with optimizer output circuits and module installation where needed.
- Follow instructions from the electrical team lead and site superintendent.
- Support safe and efficient jobsite operations.
- Maintain good attendance and arrive on time to all work sites.
- Comply with all state and local safety regulations.
- Travel to outer-island jobs a few times per quarter as required.
Your Profile
- Trade-related experience preferred.
- Ownership of basic hand and power tools, including items such as an impact driver, drill, sockets, screwdrivers, levels, and wire strippers.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Ability to comply with safety requirements and jobsite procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a desire to succeed and grow in the solar industry.
