Title:
DG BOSS: Fuel System Maintenance Mechanic (FN)
The Fuel System Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of fuel systems and related equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety. This role includes servicing and troubleshooting fuel pumps, dispensers, storage tanks, fuel filtration systems, and other components within the fuel distribution system. The mechanic will also conduct regular preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures, perform routine inspections, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The position requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and adherence to industry standards for fuel handling and maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- 3.2.4.1 Direct Fueling Systems and Hydrants
- Perform PM for fuel skids and associated equipment to ensure proper operation, to minimize breakdowns, and to maximize useful life.
- 3.2.4.2 Mobile Aircraft Refuelers
- Perform PM for fuel trucks and associated equipment to ensure proper operation, to minimizebreakdowns, and to maximize useful life.
- 3.2.4.3 Aircraft Petroleum Systems
- Perform prescriptive maintenance on Aircraft Petroleum Systems to ensure safe, reliable,uninterrupted service.

- Perform Daily, Weekly, Monthly Maintenance, Aircraft Direct Fueling System (Pantograph)Maintenance, and Hydrant Pit Valve Systems/Assemblies Maintenance .
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on liquid fuel systems, including storage tanks, pumps, valves, pipelines, control systems and input to Maximo system.
- Inspect and test liquid fuel systems to identify faults and implement repairs efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations related to liquid fuel storage, distribution, and handling.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, inspection records, and work reports IAW company and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve fuel system issues promptly.
- Support emergency maintenance tasks and respond to fuel-related incidents as needed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for parts and supplies needed for fuel system maintenance.
- Keep up to date with industry standards, best practices, and advancements in fuel technology.
Basic Qualifications
- Familiarity with fuel control systems and automated fuel management software.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for handling liquid fuels.
- Basic understanding of fuel system operations, mechanical systems, and relevant safety protocols.
- Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and specialized maintenance tools.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Must possess administrative, organizational, and computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft
- Office suite including (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through to completion of multiple tasks, under strict deadlines, and changing priorities.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Must pass overseas medical screening and be in good health.
- Must possess country of driver’s license and be able to drive a manual and/or automatic transmission
Qualifications
JOB SPECIFICATIONS: SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS OR TRAINING
- Certification or technical training in fuels maintenance or a related electro-mechanical field.
EDUCATION:
- Must be at least a high school, technical, or vocational course graduate is required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least (1-3) years of experience as a qualified liquid fuels system maintenance technician or related field.
- Proven track record of performing maintenance and repair work on liquid fuel systems.
