About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead civil, structural, architectural, and utilities engineering aspects of a major capital project based in Saxony, Germany. This role will oversee design coordination, contractor management, procurement, construction, and commissioning to ensure successful delivery on quality, schedule, safety, and cost targets.


 


Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all civil, structural, architectural, and utilities engineering coordination and contractor oversight
  
• Lead interface with external design contractors and internal project stakeholders
  
• Oversee planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
  
• Coordinate permitting and authority submissions
  
• Monitor contractor performance and manage site teams
  
• Lead risk management, quality control, and budget tracking
  
• Report progress, risks, and issues to Project Manager and senior leadership
  
• Collaborate closely with MEP teams and site supervisors
  

 


Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in civil, structural, architectural, or technical engineering
  
• 5–10 years’ experience in major capital investment projects (€10–50M)
  
• Proven experience in Design & Build project management
  
• Strong people management and contract negotiation skills
  
• Fluent in German and English
  
• Experience working in Germany and with German contractors
