Corrosion & Materials Engineer

Airswift has been tasked by one of our major Oil and Gas clients to seek a Corrosion & Materials Engineer to work in their facilities located in Pau, France on a 6 months contract with possibility of extension.  





Responsibilities Include:


  • Contributes to the development, drafting, updating and management of technical reference documents for its speciality in the field of anticorrosive paints, and ensures their distribution and promotion to entities.

  • Implements technical specifications for material selection and corrosion control.

  • Monitors the manufacture, acceptance, installation, and commissioning of corrosion control equipment.

  • Participates in research and development studies.

  • Carries out audits, participates in technical reviews of projects.

  • Participates in research & development studies.

  • Being open-minded to work on multi asset and multi energy included power, solar panel and wind offshore.

  • Being creative and proactive and being actively involved in improvements of internal processes and methodologies


     



Qualifications:



  • Advanced expertise in materials and/or corrosion topics.

  • Expertise of installation of offshore and/or onshore and/or upstream and/or downstream applications.

  • Expertise of Oil and Gas field and/or downstream operation and integrity management.

  • English and French fluent .
