Job Purpose
Responsible for overseeing the civil/structural engineering discipline and managing the contractor during FEED/EPC phases. Ensures all technical deliverables meet scope, budget, and schedule requirements, and comply with project specifications and standards.
Job Context & Major Challenges
- Guide contractors and third parties to deliver timely and compliant engineering outputs
- Maintain constructive relationships across engineering, construction, and operations teams
- Ensure alignment and integration of civil/structural work across interfaces
- Role transitions from office to site-based during project execution
Key Job Accountabilities
- Exhibit strong safety leadership and behaviors
- Ensure engineering activities meet regulatory and project standards
- Resolve discipline-specific issues to meet project objectives
- Promote design integrity and safety through approved recommendations
- Oversee contractor design execution and verify resource adequacy
- Provide discipline input across engineering, construction, and commissioning
- Conduct technical evaluations and resolve cross-discipline issues
- Lead interface coordination with other project scopes and third parties
- Maintain design revision chronology for contract administration
- Monitor schedule and progress while managing design changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Experience
- 8 years in engineering roles, including 4 years in Oil & Gas
- 1 year in supervisory or oversight capacity
- Experience with contractors, vendors, and service companies
- Exposure to sour service gas, LNG facilities, offshore platforms/pipelines
- Knowledge of berth design, seabed dredging, brownfield execution
- Experience in tank foundation design, geotechnical, drainage, precast, steel structures, building and dynamic equipment foundation design
- Blast design experience is a plus

- Fluent in English (written and oral)
- Strong leadership, analytical, and coordination skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Deep understanding of civil engineering codes and standards
