Under the direction of a designated mentor, the Welding Apprentice will be trained in welding preparation including:

    \n
  • MIG welding
  • \n

  • Robotic Welding
  • \n

  • Metal Finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings and specifications
  • \n

Essential Functions:

    \n
  • Follow all Spacesaver safety policies and procedures
  • \n

  • Perform Standard Work by following Work/Operator Instructions/Training
  • \n

  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • \n

  • Understand and practice 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
  • \n

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a youth apprenticeship program through high school
  • \n

  • Ability to work Monday through Thursday beginning at 5 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m.
  • \n
