Contract Type: 
Offshore Shift-Rotation (14-on / 14-off)

Role Overview:
The WTG Installation Vessel Representative will be based full-time on the wind turbine installation vessel and act as the primary point of contact for all activities conducted on board. The role focuses on supervising offshore installation operations, ensuring safe and efficient execution of works, and maintaining clear communication with the onshore WTG package team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for all WTG-related offshore activities, including turbine installation works, vessel operations and crew change logistics.
  • Observe operational activities (where safe to do so) and monitor contractor performance in relation to HSE, quality, schedule and procedures.
  • Attend operational meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Provide routine progress updates and produce daily progress reports in the reporting system provided.
  • Identify, document and escalate any construction or safety concerns, contributing to resolution where required.
  • Perform inspections and record findings in the project quality system.
  • Participate proactively in onboard safety management, reporting observations and raising alerts regarding emerging HSE risks.
  • Authority to intervene or stop operations in cases of safety or quality non-compliance.
  • No contractual or commercial authority outside of safety- or quality-related intervention.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an offshore representative for WTG installation within the offshore wind sector (EPCI contract experience ).
  • Strong understanding of marine operations, particularly jack-up vessels and marine coordination procedures.
  • Experience working with Marine Warranty Surveyors.
  • Experience with WTG completion, commissioning and handover activities (desirable).
  • Strong working knowledge of offshore HSE requirements and industry standards.
  • IT proficient – Word, Excel, and general reporting systems; experience with inspection/auditing software beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills; fluent spoken and written English required.
