Job Summary:
The WRO Program Manager is responsible for the quality of service, coaching, training, development, and work production of all assigned staff. The Manager is committed to achieving all programmatic goals and objectives outlined in the Work Ready Oklahoma (WRO) contract and ensuring that the local WRO site provides high-quality services and that the program is in alignment with the WRO mission. This position will work closely with the Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) provider to coordinate monthly workshops and delivery of the WRO curriculum. The Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with education and training providers, employment partners, OKDHS staff, and other community resource organizations to contribute to participant outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations while supervising and training Employment and Job Coach team members.
- Support the WRO Program Director in developing objective performance measurements to ensure all employees have consistent, high-quality evaluation and goal-setting procedures
- Assist the WRO Program Director to recruit, hire, and oversee training and of all staff members.
- Leads program participant and employer recruitment events onsite and extending into the community, on a continual basis, to increase program reach, improve outcomes, and cultivate new and existing partnerships.
- Manage daily interactions between WRO team members and WRO participants providing coaching, direction, and oversight to the use of barrier removing resources.
- Providing facilitation and hands-on coaching during WRO work readiness workshops to complement the distance learning content with program fidelity.
- Review participant evaluations to determine how services can be improved
- Collaborate with the TTA provider to coordinate monthly workshops and delivery of the WRO curriculum to low-income adults and underserved communities
- Maintain and analyze accurate workshop data, including attendance rosters, assessments, and other required reporting documentation.
- Develop expertise with program database management, including but not limited to ERGO and Caseworthy electronic database systems management.
- Leads, maintains, and provides oversight for HIPAA compliance among program team members concerning participant documents that are considered Protected Health Informaiton Information.
- Ensure information is properly recorded and communicated to the Program Director, OKDHS, and the TTA team
Other Job Functions:
- Collaborates with other Goodwill workforce development programs to create a greater impact on participant outcomes and organizational recognition.
- Keeps an inventory of program collateral, curriculum, and consumables communicating all needs to the WRO Program Director.
- Coordinates required training, virtual and in person, for all team members, which includes multi-day, out-of-town events.
- Coordinates and executes the WORKlahoma Job Fair twice per year and other community events.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all Goodwill policies, including safety, ethics, and EEO.
- Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities apply.
- Other duties as assigned.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational management, business administration, social work, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience with project management and supervisory roles.
