We are looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our client's small, experienced team in their Workshop Department. Ideally you will have experience within farming/agriculture welding.



This is a hands-on role that requires you to work both independently and collaboratively with a team of fabricators and welders. You'll enjoy working on a variety of projects, from fabricating new parts to repairing agricultural and plant machinery.



Key Duties:



Utilising MIG welding equipment to fabricate and manufacture parts and assemblies

Supply parts and assemblies from jigs and fixtures

Repair agricultural and plant machinery

Develop and improve machinery fleet

Maintain stock levels and welding consumables

Occasional travel to off-site projectsWhat We're Looking For:



A minimum of 3 years of experience in fabrication

A minimum of 3 years of experience in MIG welding of steel

Some experience with TIG and ARC welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium is highly desirable

A working knowledge of engineering drawings

A full UK driving license and experience driving a counterbalance forklift

Enthusiasm, good timekeeping, and the ability to work to deadlines under pressure

Physically able to lift and handle heavy items in line with health and safety regulationsIf you are a hands-on individual with a strong work ethic and the skills we're looking for, we'd like to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key part of a dedicated team.



Working hours are Monday - Friday, 7.00 am - 5.30 pm
