The Civil Construction Laborer supports the build-out of wireless telecommunications sites by performing essential manual labor tasks. This entry-level role is critical to the successful preparation and execution of civil infrastructure work, including trenching, concrete, grounding, and site cleanup. Working under the supervision of a Construction Technician or Foreman, this individual contributes to efficient, safe, and quality job site operations.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist with general site preparation including clearing, digging, and grading.

·       Support trenching and backfilling operations for conduit and grounding systems.

·       Load, carry, and organize materials, tools, and equipment around the job site.

·       Mix, pour, and finish concrete for equipment pads and foundations.

·       Maintain clean and organized work areas; remove debris and hazards regularly.

·       Use hand tools and light construction equipment under supervision.

·       Follow all safety procedures and company policies during fieldwork.

·       Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.

·       Participate in daily safety briefings and task planning activities.

Required Qualifications

·       High school diploma or GED .

·       Basic understanding of construction labor practices.

·       Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.

·       Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and terrain.

·       Willingness to travel to remote or regional job sites.

·       Reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

·       Ability to take direction and work in a team environment.

·       Must be authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Qualifications

·       OSHA 10 certification.

·       Experience in general construction, landscaping, or utility work.

·       Familiarity with trenching, concrete forming, or compacting.

·       Interest in long-term career growth in the wireless construction industry.

Work Environment

This role involves outdoor work in construction settings that may include remote or rural locations. Laborers can expect exposure to heat, cold, rain, uneven surfaces, and loud noise. Work schedules may vary, including extended hours, nights, or weekends depending on project demands. Proper PPE must be worn at all times.
