Do you have a passion for enabling power technologies that are fundamental to lighting up our products and delivering fantastic user experiences? Our systems have increasingly demanding power requirements, including advanced features, fast charging, external peripherals, and more! In this highly visible role, you'll work with software and system teams to define, develop, and enable powering solutions, creating scalable roadmaps across product families and power interfaces.
Description
We seek an exceptional engineer with cross-disciplinary skills to design and implement wired power input/output capabilities across our product portfolio. This role requires high-level architectural thinking, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will work hands-on with hardware prototypes and become an expert in system debugging, collaborating with system architects, electrical engineers, and various software teams to develop the next of Apple products.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong embedded software engineering skills, understanding of operating systems, and knowledge of C/C++
Passion for system engineering, hardware/software integration, and delivering delightful customer experiences
Proven track record of successful, timely software delivery with complex dependencies
Excellent professionalism, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills
Qualifications
Experience with HW-SW interfaces and protocols like I2C, SPI, SPMI
Familiarity with power management software and charging technologies such as USB Power Delivery or BC 1.2
Experience resolving complex system issues across hardware and software domains
Experience with hardware bring-up and new technology integration
Curiosity about system functionalities and high attention to detail
Pay & Benefits
Base pay ranges from $143,100 to $264,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Employees are eligible for stock programs, benefits including medical, dental, retirement, discounts, educational reimbursement, bonuses, and relocation assistance.
