Window/Door Service Technician

Bismarck–Mandan, ND
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | No Overnights

Front Street Millwork & Lumber has proudly served the Bismarck–Mandan area for over 27 years, delivering premium lumber, millwork, cabinetry, and finish trims to both contractors and homeowners. We’re currently looking for a reliable and skilled Window/Door Service Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform service, repairs, and installations at customer locations or on-site at Front Street Millwork.
• Handle service work for products such as Andersen and Vector windows, entry systems, interior doors, cabinet doors, trim, and hardware.
• Communicate directly with customers while maintaining professionalism and cleanliness in their homes or businesses.
• Pick up and load materials, track daily job schedules, and maintain accurate service documentation (photos and detailed reports).
• Identify and report additional issues or potential concerns to the Service Manager.
• Collect payments for chargeable service calls upon completion.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company service vehicle and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar installation or service role.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Day Shift
• No overnight travel
• Limited out-of-town trips
