WTR Search is seeking a Wind Site Manager for a leading Renewable Energy company to oversee the safe, efficient, and high-performing operation of a company-owned Wind Farm located in Oklahoma. This position offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance if needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all site employees and contractors to maximize availability and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Supervise and support wind turbine technicians in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with power purchase agreements, interconnection agreements, and service/warranty contracts.
- Conduct and oversee safety analyses, inspections, and training to maintain compliance with safety standards.
- Manage site inventory and develop and manage site budget.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly site performance and operations reports.
- Ensure training certifications and qualifications for all personnel remain current.
- Serve as the primary site contact for landowners, regulators, and community stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in wind or energy O&M, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with lock-out/tag-out procedures and switching operations.
- Experience in monitoring site performance, availability, and reliability.
- Strong understanding of safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Maximo is a plus.
- Technical degree or equivalent work experience in wind or energy operations.
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
