Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee daily welding operations within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise with ASME welding processes and pressure vessel fabrication standards. This role is responsible for leading a team of skilled welders, maintaining production quality, and driving continuous improvement in safety, efficiency, and performance.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the welding department to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to welders, ensuring compliance with ASME codes and internal procedures.
- Oversee weld inspections, documentation, and reporting to maintain accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify process improvements and resolve fabrication issues.
- Monitor equipment, materials, and workflow to support smooth operations and minimize downtime.
- Implement and enforce safety and quality practices to promote a productive and compliant work environment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong understanding of ASME welding codes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
