Welding Machine Operator – Engineering and Manufacturing

A local company with a facility in the Wixom, Michigan area is currently seeking a Welding Machine Operator for a long-term opportunity with their growing team. These are exciting opportunities for Weld Machine Operators looking for a company that offers excellent growth, development, competitive rates, and excellent work-life balance.

Welding Machine Operator rates are anticipated to be $18 - $22 / hour based on experience and education. All well qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. Overtime is paid at premium rates over 40 hours per week. We offer excellent benefits including great medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Welding Machine Operators will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of recent/relevant experience using a robotic weld cell machine is a plus
• Must be able to effectively read a tape measure
• Solid skills with basic hand and power tools including drills, hammers, screw drivers, wrenches, tape measure, etc.
• Perform General Labor duties as necessary to assist the shop floor team including machine operation, basic maintenance, sweeping, organizing, etc.
• Familiarity with weld processes and quality is a benefit, however training is available to well qualified candidates.
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
