Finisher Role

The Finisher is responsible for the final touches on a variety of products. They will be required to grind away excess weld, restore grain to stainless steel components and polish to the desired finish quality. Finishers will work in a team environment to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.

We understand that finding someone with the exact skill set can be challenging, but we are open to considering candidates who show potential and a willingness to learn. Automotive detailers, in particular, may have the finishing and polishing skills we need and could be trained in the specific welding techniques required.

Responsibilities:

• Remove excess material from products using sanders, grinders, or other tools.
• Clean and polish items to improve their appearance and durability
• Inspect products for defects or imperfections and report any issues to supervisors
• Operate machinery and equipment to perform finishing tasks
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure production quotas are achieved
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Stainless Steel: Must have experience working with Stainless Steel and Aluminum. Attention to detail is crucial.
• Finishing and Polishing: Candidates with experience in automotive detailing, including buffing and polishing, are encouraged to apply. This experience is valuable for achieving the high level of finish required.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to work is essential, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise welds.
• Adaptability and Willingness to Learn: We value candidates who are open to learning and improving their skills. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial, but we are also open to training individuals who show potential and a willingness to learn.
• Welding Skills are a Bonus: Proficiency in TIG welding stainless steel is . Experience in MIG welding may be considered if the candidate has a background in automotive detailing, buffing, and polishing.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, maintaining pride in workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Examples of Relevant Experience:

• Automotive Detailing: Experience in automotive detailing, particularly in buffing and polishing, is highly regarded.
• TIG Welding Stainless Steel: Candidates with TIG welding experience in stainless steel are likely to have the necessary skills for cleaning and finishing welds to a high standard.

Working Conditions:
