SALARY

£18 - £22 per hour



HOURS

Monday - Thursday 8am-4.45pm

Friday 8am-1pm

Lots of Overtime paid at time and half Monday-Saturday and Double time on a Sunday

ABOUT THE COMPANY



Established in 2005 this large, very successful Engineering company offer a full service from problem-solving and design to manufacture and assembly.



They cover a very wide range of sectors such as; aerospace, renewables, automotive, electronics, defense, food & drink, medical, oil & gas, and life sciences.



Also offering expert assistance with fabrication, welding or structural steel.



Details of the new post:- Coded Welder/Welding Coordinator £18-£22 per hr



Duties include: -



Understanding of the BS EN 3834 and BS EN 1090 accreditations.

Reviewing and updating of the welding quality manuals.

Assist with audits.

Ensure that welding activities are carried out in accordance with the standards and requirements on customer drawings.

Implement and prepare / write welding procedures in line with the relevant codes and standards.

Identify the need for new PQRs as per project requirements.

Review client and contract documentation to identify necessary records.

Ensure that work activities are carried out in accordance with the standard and any project requirements.

Take part in meetings and support main quality lead in all quality matters.

Lead monthly EHS meetings.

Management of certain training requirements in conjunction with HR.

Site visits when required.

Open to learning new skills.



Experience in NDT/Dye-pen (Not essential).



Key Skills:

Knowledgeable in current legislation.

Professional Qualifications / Relevant Experience:

Coding MIG or TIG in various materials.

3 years' experience as Welding coordinator
