Welding Automation Engineer
Job Description
We're looking for a Welding Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting global customers and playing a key role in building cutting-edge automated welding systems at our plant in Irvine.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance visits to existing and new customers across the globe.
- Deliver training on semi-automated and fully automatic MIG welding processes.
- Support the design, assembly, and testing of automated welding machines at our manufacturing facility.
- Assist in managing parts inventory and ensure smooth operations within the workshop.
- Serve as a technical advisor and hands-on engineer in both customer and manufacturing environments.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in welding processes and welding equipment maintenance.
- Background in manufacturing, with knowledge of managing parts and inventory systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
- A strong customer-first mindset with excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Culturally aware and able to adapt to working in different countries and environments.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally at short notice (up to 30 weeks per year).
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in engineering is .
- Meticulous in your work, and a critical eye for detail and procedure.
