• Hamburg NY area. Work site is NOT on a bus route.

• 1st shift

• $21 - $28 or more with experience

A growing local company in the Southtowns has hired Express Employment Professionals to recruit several Welders / Fabricators. This is a great way to get started with a well-established, local company that is growing, values their employees and promotes them from within.

Duties for Fabricator/Welder:

• Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints

• Set up and operate welding equipment, including rigging and power tools

• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality using micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments

• Interpret and follow schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper welding techniques and procedures

• Use hand tools and equipment to clean, prepare, and finish welded parts

• Assist with machining tasks as needed

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements

Skills for Welding/Fabrication worker will possess are:

• Proficient in welding techniques, with high structural integrity and appearance

• Knowledge of machining processes and equipment

• Ability to use hand tools effectively for cleaning and finishing welded parts

• Strong blueprint reading skills to understand project requirements

You should be proficient in:

• Tape Measure Reading
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• MIG Welder
• TIG Welder
• Stick Welder
• Manual Grinder
