Great Company. Exciting Opportunity. Our client needs great welders to perform SMAW and FCAW welding and cutting using gas and electric welding equipment.

Essential Functions:

·         SMAW and FCAW welding

·         Welding components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

·         Inspecting work, working from blueprints, and setting up and welding parts as called for by shop drawings

·         Setting and maintaining proper welding temperatures, wire feeds, and gas settings to produce quality welds

·         Monitoring and controlling temperature during welding, burning, and fitting to prevent overheating, warping, and distortion of metal parts.

·         Maintaining, organizing and cleaning equipment and the work area

Qualifications:

·         Must have 6G certification in FCAW and SMAW or be able to pass the certification test.
