Our immigration team is the largest and most experienced in New Zealand, providing employers with Immigration Strategy and visa advice for their employees.The company is currently looking for multiple Welders to join their well-establishedcompany in a role that will provide opportunities to upskill for those keen to progress intheir career.About role -:- Permanent position - 30 hours minimum guaranteed hours Monday to FridayDuties: - Read blueprints and drawings– follow plans to install infrastructure - Operate welding equipment to cut, shape bend and join metal as required - Weld, test and inspect welded surfaces and structures – ensure structural integrity - Finish welds using appropriate technique and equipment- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety - Follow all Health and Safety and compliance procedures and report accordinglyPerson RequirementsRequirement for the role : - 3 years verifiable experience required working on the same role - Must have a good level of spoken and written English.- Have good customer relation skills, remaining calm and controlled even when thepressure is on. - Essential Knowledge of Health and Safety and the hazards of operating onconstruction sites. - Have a clean driver’s license - Be fit and healthy and must pass a drug test
