Position Summary:
ASME code Certified Welder that perform welds which require current code and addenda of ASME Section IX, Section VIII, Division1 and Section I. under the supervision of a Quality Engineer. Also preforms welds may or may not require certification using spot, PAW, Mig, and Tig, welders to join parts, vessels, enclosures, etc. to accepted manufacturing standards. Setup and operate equipment needed to cut, stamp, bend, form metal parts and materials for welding

Delivery:
Perform welds which require current code and addenda of ASME Section IX, Section VIII, Division1 and Section I. under the supervision of a Quality Engineer. • Perform welds that require approval from an outside testing lab and is accepted by the Manufactures record of welder. • All the responsibilities /Activities of the Welder II Business Partner: • Quality Engineers • Process Engineers Center of Expertise (COE) • Welding Techniques - ASME Code Certification under the supervision of a qualified Quality Engineer and approved by a qualified testing lab. • ASME - GTA - 45 in 5G • ASME - GTM 11 process 1 in 6G
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements:
Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
