We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our fabrication shop. The successful candidate will combine hands-on expertise in welding (steel, stainless steel, aluminum) with the ability to plan, organize, and contribute to shop operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.

• Use TIG, MIG, Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welding techniques with precision.

• Measure, cut, and fit materials using shop tools and machinery.

• Inspect finished work for structural integrity and compliance with specifications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience in a fabrication or industrial environment.

• Proficient in TIG, MIG, SMAW (Stick), and FCAW welding techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Familiarity with shop tools, grinders, cutting torches, and measuring equipment.

• Welding certifications ( but not required).

• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment.

Skills

• Experience coordinating multiple welding projects simultaneously.

• Familiarity with fabrication tools, layout techniques, and quality control.

• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or travel if required.

• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members.
