Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Welders for projects located in or around Spokane, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

  • Welding materials (mild steel, stainless steel, and occasionally aluminum) based on blueprints
  • Inspecting welded parts to ensure quality and adherence to blueprints
  • Setting up and operate welding machines, including turning on equipment and adjusting settings
  • Operating forklift as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate quality or machinery issues to management as they arise
  • Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Proficiency in shop math and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to determine material types and gauges
  • Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs

:

  • AWS D1.1, D1.6, D1.2 certifications
  • Ability to use shop tools (grinders, band saws, calipers, plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches)
