Job Title: Structural Welder
Location: Olathe, KS
Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time | 40–50 Hours per Week (including occasional Saturdays)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join our team in Olathe, KS. The ideal candidate will have strong fabrication skills, the ability to read blueprints, and experience working with various metals. This position involves welding, cutting, and assembling structural components to meet project specifications while maintaining top safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld, cut, and fabricate metal structures according to blueprints and specifications.
- Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
- Inspect welds and materials to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Interpret detailed technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Perform welding tasks in shop and field environments as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in proper working condition.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Structural Welder.
- OSHA 10 Certification – Required.
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME, or equivalent) – .
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including various weather conditions.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to following established procedures.
