Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will fabricate, weld, finish, and assemble metal components to high quality and safety standards, support shop production schedules, and contribute to continuous improvement and a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

· Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble metal components using hand and power tools.

· Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding to produce structural and decorative metalwork.

· Grind, sand, and finish welds for a high-quality appearance and fit.

· Operate cutting equipment (plasma cutter, oxy‐fuel torch, band saw) and layout machinery.

· Prepare parts for painting and powder coating; work with finishing team to ensure correct surface prep.

· Inspect finished work for dimensional accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; follow PPE and shop safety protocols.

· Collaborate with designers, finishers, and installers to meet project schedules and client expectations.

· Support inventory control and report material needs; assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed.

· Mentor junior staff and apprentices as required.
