Salary Range: $39,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
- Operate various welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) to fuse metal components and fabricate structures.
- Fabricate and assemble metal parts and products according to precise measurements and design requirements.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, tools, and work area to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, regulations, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials using grinders, saws, and other hand tools prior to welding.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Relevant welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1) or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols and procedures.
- Experience performing quality welds on different materials common in manufacturing settings.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with precision TIG welding on thin gauge materials.
- Strong fabrication and fitting skills, including blueprint interpretation and layout.
- Ability to perform basic visual inspection and quality control of welds.
- Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment.
