Welder CRP Group are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join a manufacturing team, specialising in the fabrication and assembly of vehicles and trailers. The successful candidate will work from technical drawings to complete high-quality welds using MIG welding techniques, as well as cutting and preparing materials using oxygen/acetylene cutting equipment. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes pride in producing strong, accurate, and visually clean welds for structurally critical components. Key Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble metal components for vehicles and trailers using MIG welding and cutting processes. Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate builds. Perform cutting, shaping, and preparation of steel using oxygen/acetylene equipment and appropriate tools. Inspect materials and completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with technical standards. Operate hand tools, grinders, and measuring equipment to ensure quality finishes and correct tolerances. Fit, tack, and weld components including chassis, body frames, brackets, and other structural parts. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Work closely with the production team to meet daily and weekly build targets. Report any defects, safety hazards, or production issues to the supervisor promptly. Skills & Experience Required Proficient in MIG welding of mild steel (thin and thick plate) Experience with oxygen/acetylene cutting and preparation Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics Prior experience in vehicle or trailer manufacturing is highly desirable For further information please don't hesitate to get in touch
