Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and operation of welding equipment under the guidance of experienced welders.
- Support the welding process by preparing materials, handling tools, and maintaining equipment.
- Read and understand job specifications, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
- Perform tasks such as grinding, cutting, and preparing surfaces for welding.
- Follow all safety protocols and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- GED or high school diploma required; additional technical training in welding is .
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and familiarity with welding equipment.
- Ability to perform measurements and adjustments with tools such as weld gages, tape measures, and protractors.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
- Must pass a basic welding and safety knowledge test.

- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods.
