Welder – Heavy Wall Pipework



Location: Ossett, West Yorkshire (with UK travel)



Salary: £35,690.20 (£18.55ph) + Overtime & Benefits



Hours: 37 per week + overtime opportunities



Contract: Full-time, Permanent



Applicants must have proven experience welding heavy wall pipework.



We’re looking for skilled Welders to join a well-established engineering team. You’ll work on both workshop pre-fabrication and onsite projects across the UK, with overtime and weekend work required at times.



Key Responsibilities:



* Welding stainless steel and carbon steel pipework (small bore <2” and large bore up to 32”).



* Carrying out pre-fabrication work in the workshop.



* Attending client sites nationwide for fabrication, installation, and modification.



* Spool fabrication using welding and mechanical forming techniques.



* Reading and interpreting isometrics, P&IDs, and job specifications.



* Pressure testing and flushing (training provided).



* Working to tight tolerances and promoting good H&S practices.



* Supporting and mentoring junior team members.



Requirements:



* Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.



* MIG, TIG, and MMA (stick) welding experience.



* Strong background with stainless and carbon steel pipework.



* Willingness to travel and work away from home.



* Full UK driving licence.



* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.



* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.



Desirable:



* Forklift truck licence



* Current or expired coding’s.
