Overview
Welding and fabrication in stainless steel material 1.0mm – 12mm thickness including pipework/purge. Both Tig and Synergic Mig welding processes are utilised. It is expected you will have experience in reading engineering drawings, understand tolerances/bend allowances /be experienced in fabrication and sheet-metal machinery.

Working from engineering drawings
Bend allowances, fabricating sheet metal for process machinery
To carry out a policy of quality engineering when working in the factory / on site.
To maintain standards on safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and good time keeping.
City & Guilds Qualifications in Engineering would be an advantage or a good engineering background.

Staff Meals/EventsYou would be contracted to work 39 hours per week, Monday – Friday with a 10 minute break 10.00 am - 10.10 am and ½ hour lunch-break 1.00 pm - 1.30 pm
Working Hours:
Monday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.00 pm
Tuesday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 4.30 pm
Wednesday/Thursday 7.30 am - 1.00 pm / 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm
Friday 7.30 am - 12 noon (unless working overtime).
Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked as requested by Supervisor or Manager
