Job Overview 

Delta Fabricating is seeking a dynamic welder to join our growing team in Glencoe, MN.  
The welder is responsible for welding and grinding enclosures, sheet metal fabrications, and other component parts
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and understand component part drawings
• Correctly weld and grind gauges and distinct types of steel following welding notes on drawings
• Operate a torch, plasma cutter and other tools as required 
• Identify quality issues that may arise and direct them to supervisor for corrective action
• Focus on quick and quality productivity while being always safety conscious
• Ensure all parts are marked correctly

 Education and/or Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• One to two years of welding experience
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing production or willingness to learn
• 5 years of stainless-steel welding experience
• MIG welding a plus
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus 
• Basic computer skills are a plus

 Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
