We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX. Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety measures are in place.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
- Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Welding certification is but not required.
Salary info:
$20 - $26 / hr
