ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire a Welder/Fabricators. We are currently looking for an experienced welders /fabricators that enjoy custom steel fabrication.

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to follow instructions.
- Collaborating directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products
- Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment
- Using wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication
- Using manual and power tools for finish grinding applications
- Utilizing knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics and building materials
- Reading, understanding and following detailed drawings and blueprint specifications
- Performing all job functions and using all equipment safely by following all safety policies and good housekeeping practices
- Handling other duties as assigned within the scope of the position
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 -3 years of Welding experience.
- Metal fabrication experience, preferably in welding
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
- The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment:
- Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE & safety training will be provided)
- Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
