Position: Welder / Fabricator
Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $32–$36 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 40–50 hours per week | Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays
Requirements:
- Up-to-date welding certificates (up to 4G)
- OSHA 10 or higher certification (required)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Active driver’s license
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Grand Island, NE.
You will be responsible for setting up welding machines and equipment, reading and interpreting blueprints, and performing a variety of welding, cutting, grinding, and finishing operations.
You will also inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and quality, and may fabricate custom parts as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
- Install and repair equipment and components
- Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
- Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
- Operate additional machinery such as forklifts (as needed)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2–3 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or related manufacturing work
- Proficiency with welding tools, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and follow verbal instructions
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the job
- Experience welding aluminum (1+ year )
