Position: Welder/Fabricator
Location: Minto, ND
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: $18–$22/hr (based on experience)
Are you a skilled welder/fabricator with a knack for problem-solving and hands-on trailer maintenance? Join our team in Minto, ND, where your mechanical aptitude and fabrication expertise will keep our equipment running strong.
What You’ll Do:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on trailers, including:
  • Electrical wiring
  • Airbrake systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Live bottom belted chains
• Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer issues
• Weld and fabricate trailer parts using MIG, stick welding, plasma cutting, and acetylene torch
• Repair or replace damaged/worn trailer components
• Maintain accurate records of work performed
• Climb trailers/ladders and work at heights or in tight spaces
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• Self-motivated, dependable, and efficient team player
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive systems
• Experience with welding machines and fabrication tools
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Physical ability to:
  • Lift up to 75 lbs. regularly
  • Kneel, bend, crawl, and work overhead for extended periods
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (vocational/technical training )
• Valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug screening
