About Us
Our client is a well-established steel fabrication company with a strong reputation for producing high-quality work. They specialise in both structural steel (80%) and architectural metalwork (20%), delivering reliable solutions to clients across a range of industries.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding a variety of steel components to a high standard, working from technical drawings and ensuring accuracy throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld structural and architectural steelwork
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Work effectively as part of a small, skilled team
Requirements
Proven experience in MIG welding (preferably on mild steel and stainless)
Strong fabrication and fitting skills
Ability to work from detailed fabrication drawings
Good attention to detail and a focus on quality
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
