Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, demonstrating proficiency in MIG welding with other types of welding technquies adventurous. This role involves working with mild steel 3mm to 25mm welds and other materials to create high-quality components for our projects. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, possess excellent mechanical knowledge, a driving license enabling them to communte to work, The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Hourly Rate: £16.54p/h - £16.54p/h – with pay rate being reviewed at 12 weeks
* Contract: Temp to perm.
* Working Hours: Monday-Thursday: 6:45am-17:00pm & Friday: 6:45am-1:30pm.
Duties & Job Requirements
* Fabrication experience (not jig work)
* Ability to weld from 3mm to 25mm mild steel
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Excellent attendance and timekeeping essential
* Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
* Quality checks.
* Ensure all documentation is actioned for accuracy
Experience
* Proven experience in welding, particularly with MIG.
* Familiarity with fabrication processes
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience working with mild Steel.
* Experience working with steel.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
