Spaulding Manufacturing Co. is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team!
Welders/fitters perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:
- Reading and comprehending blue prints
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing parts to be welded or fabricated
- Clamping, holding, tack welding-heat bending, bolting, and/or grinding parts as necessary to satisfy the requirements of a successful welded final product
- Welding parts in various directions--flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead, etc.
- Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and flame cutters
- Monitoring equipment and performing tasks necessary for welding metal
- Operating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and flame cutters.
- Monitoring the fitting, burning, and welding processes
- Inspecting and verifying finished product
- Maintaining a clean safe work station/environment by complying with procedures, rules/regulations, and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous welding/fabricating experience and or completion of a training program/certificate.
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG and/or TIG.
- Ability to read blue prints and weld symbols.
- Good math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Shift:
- 8 hour shift
