Position Summary:

The Robot Welder is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic welding equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures weld quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety while supporting overall production goals.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate robotic welding machines to meet production requirements.
• Load and unload parts or materials into fixtures and welding cells.
• Monitor welding operations to ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting on robotic welding equipment.
• Inspect finished products using measuring tools, gauges, or visual checks to verify weld quality.
• Document production data, quality checks, and machine performance.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members, maintenance, and supervisors to resolve production or equipment issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding or operating robotic welding equipment .
• Basic knowledge of welding processes (MIG, TIG, etc.) and blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
• Work in an environment with noise, heat, and moving machinery.
