Pay – $20-22/hr Depending on experience

Shift – Full-Time

Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Comstock Park, MI. This is a steady, year-round opportunity in a union shop. You’ll work with blueprints, specifications, and instructions to fabricate products using hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment, collaborating with other departments as needed.

Responsibilities for the Welder

• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and/or verbal instructions
• Plan and complete fabrication tasks using hand tools, machine tools, and welding equipment
• Perform structural welding and fabrication work
• Collaborate with other departments to complete projects
• Follow all safety and quality standards

Key Qualifications for the Welder

• High school diploma or GED
• Welding experience required (certification is a plus)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand throughout the shift

Skills for the Welder

• Familiarity with break forming, welding, and other structural fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering blueprints
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
